MEET ONE OF VANCOUVER’S FAVOURITE ARTISTS
Born and raised in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Donna Giraud has always been creative but never would have imagined that 42 years later, she would be living her dream as one of Vancouver’s most sought after abstract painters.

Her first career was as a collegiate level soccer player where she earned silver and gold national medals before changing gears and becoming a nurse at St. Paul’s Hospital. This is where Donna realized her passion for healing and giving.

After 14 exhausting and exhilarating years of nursing, Donna felt the urge to make another change. Her already successful emerging artist career was in full swing but Donna knew she had to take a chance in order to take her art to the next level.
3 years ago, Donna took a giant leap of faith, gave up her nursing license and has since created a thriving and well known career as an abstract artist.

Donna and her recognizable style is becoming more noteworthy and has been featured in numerous magazines and news platforms such as Boulevard Magazine, Vancouver Home Magazine, Global TV News and CTV Morning Live to name a few.
