A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST
DREWON might be one of my favorite pieces I have ever painted. I was thinking about the feeling of wonder when I painted this piece and I kept coming back to all my travels that I have done over the last 20 years. I get into these states of awe and wonder every time I step off a plane and submerge myself into new places, cultures, people and thoughts. Being curious so you can continue to learn and grow happens when you open yourself to all of the wonder that surrounds you so I try to remember to stay so present when I get to have these remarkable experiences. My hope is that you remember this thought while you get lost in all of DREWON’s magical layers, brush strokes and metallic sparkle.
