A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST ABOUT THE SHOW
Life is a journey, an ongoing rediscovery of yourself. Sometimes along the way, we are halted by circumstances that put us on a new path of figuring out what is next and as a result, we feel lost.
I don’t know about you, but I have had quite the year of hard choices and my decisions left me feeling lost. Now what? Where do I go from here? Who am I? What’s my purpose?
Uncertainty, transition, change; These can all be scary words. Nobody likes change. The majority of us don’t like stepping outside our comfort zones and we shy away from discovering our full potential because it’s a lot of hard work.
What this last year has taught me though, is that we have two choices. You can either resist or you can embrace. You can stay lost or you can surrender to taking the steps required to renew yourself and find new beginnings.
I choose new beginnings.
I wanted this series of artwork to help give you the courage to keep searching. I wanted it to show you that you are not alone and I wanted it to inspire you to believe you can get through whatever obstacle you are facing.
Surround yourself with those that uplift you, never be afraid to take a leap of faith and believe you are worth being found.
